According to EPAL (European Pallet Association), euro pallets are the standard pallets used for transport in Europe. EUR pallets are eligible for the European Pallet Pool (EPP) – the system that allows a” pallet for pallet” exchange.

Euro Pallets can be used in a range of industries from the transportation of goods, to holding food such as meat and fruit. They are used in a variety of industries around the world and they are very easy to clean and disinfect.

In recent times, standardization has occurred to a certain extent and we now have a widely used standard European pallet known as the EUR PalletEuro pallet or EPAL Pallet. Its dimensions are 1200mm×800mm (31.50” ×47.24”) and is one of the six approved ISO Pallet sizes. A 20'ft container can hold eleven "Europallets" in one tier or nine to ten standard pallets in one tier while a 40' container can hold 23-24 "Europallets" in one tier or 20-21 standard pallets in one tier.
